Gary L. Pickett - Attorney at Law
Gary Pickett received a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Florida State University in Tallahassee in 1981. He graduated from FSU School of Law in December, 1983.
He began his career as a courtroom litigator in 1984, as an Assistant State Attorney in the State Attorney’s Office in Jacksonville, Florida.
After working in the State Attorney’s Office, Mr. Pickett worked in the area of insurance defense where he defended corporate clients, as well as individuals involved in personal injury litigation.
In 1988, Mr. Pickett opened his private law firm and has represented clients in the areas of Criminal law, Juvenile law and Foreclosure Defense.
Since his admission to the Florida Bar in 1984, Mr. Pickett has fought for his clients in the Federal Courts in the Middle District and the Southern District of Florida. He is also a member of the Federal Southern District Court Trial Bar, the American Bar Association and the American Trial Lawyers Association. He has appeared in numerous courts, including the Fourth District Court of Appeal, as well as trial courts throughout South Florida.
He is a member of the Probate and Real Estate sections of the Florida Bar and puts an emphasis on keeping families in their homes.
